Olake fans better gear up for "Scandal's" season five return, because from the looks of the latest sneak peek Olivia Pope and Jake Ballard will once again stand in the sun.
Jake decided to give up on his romance with Olivia at the end of "Scandal" season four, advising the political fixer to go be with the man she loves, aka President Fitzgerald Grant.
Olitz had their moment of shining glory on season five when Fitz not only made their relationship public but also moved Olivia into the White House, but their romance took a turn for the worse and Olivia ended up dumping the President after she secretly aborted the lovechild Fitz didn't even know existed.
Some fans may have been hoping to see Olivia and Fitz reunited after their latest split when the ABC drama series returns, but the new trailer for the second half of season five hints at a rekindled romance between Olivia and her former flame Jake.
In the sneak peek, Jake makes it clear that he's tired of waiting for Olivia, to which she simply replies, "Then don't," right as the clip flashes to a scene of the ex-couple making out in a hallway.
Olivia only further proves she's over Fitz later on in the clip when her gal pal Abby Whelan asks if she still has the leader of the free world on the brain.
"Do you miss him?" Abby asked.
"No," Olivia replied with a stone face.
We never thought we'd see the day when Olivia didn't miss Fitz.
There's clearly a ton of changes in store when "Scandal" returns with season five, and we're looking forward to watching every single moment.
