Looks like there is some drama coming up on "Girl Meets World" between Riley and Maya but it actually has nothing to do with Lucas. According to TVOverMind.com, when the Disney Channel series returns with new episodes in February the girls will get in a major tiff in an episode titled "Girl Meets The Bay Window."
The root of the drama is that Riley decides to redecorate her room including her bay window which is her and Maya's "sacred space." It is where they share all their secrets with eachother. The episode will air on Feb.19.
"Girl Meets World" is well into its second season and now the writers of the Disney Channel series are already planning for the following season which will most likely start filming later this year and possibly premiere in the spring or summer.
Though this season has dealt a lot with the Riley (Rowan Blanchard)/Maya (Sabrina Carpenter)/Lucas (Peyton meyer) next season it will really focus on other characters including Josh (Riley's Uncle and Corey's brother) who happens to be Maya's major crush. We first met Josh, played by Uriah Shelton, in Season 1 when he came to the Matthews for Christmas. He will be a Freshmen at NYU when Maya and Riley are in high school.
The twitter account of the "Girl Meets World" writers revealed this with the post, "Relationships aside, BMW went to high school and a good show got better. Scripts in, same happening here. More Zay, more Smackle, more Josh." It will also focus on the characters transitioning into high school and all the challenges that come with it.
The show was renewed for a third season in November. "Michael Jacobs has one of the most authentic voices in television today," said Adam Bonnett, executive vp original programming at Disney Channels Worldwide. "He and the entire Girl Meets World team will not only continue to entertain families but also help kids discover who they are and who they want to be in this world."
Girl Meets World airs Fridays on Disney Channel.
