We're in the thick of red carpet season and the 2016 SAG Awards did not disappoint in terms of style.
The best actress and best supporting actress nominees from Cate Blanchett and Jennifer Lawrence to Rooney Mara and Rachel McAdams, have upped the fashion ante at the Golden Globes and Critic's Choice Awards and so, the SAG awards look has only gotten better. We're also seeing the newer starlets coming into their own. Alicia Vikander and Brie Larson, have proven themselves as ones to watch in terms of style and tonight, they really shined.
We also saw some terrific young actresses opting for younger designers, giving the carpet a breath of fresh air. Kieran Shipka, Christina Ricci, and Laverne Cox all chose young London designers that are on the rise. Ellie Kemper opted for mIlanese brand, Peter Pilotto, saying, "This dress makes me feel much younger and cooler than I am."
The next big fashion moment is the Academy Awards on February 28 and after the gorgeous dresses that came down the couture red carpet this past week, it's abound to be fabulous.
