After Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth officially split and broke off their engagement, the “Wrecking Ball” singer allegedly reached out to her ex-fiancé telling him that she was sorry for pushing him away, but unfortunately that didn’t bring them back together.
Cyrus had hopes of reconciling with Hemsworth, and now after two years of calling off their engagement, the former love birds are reportedly reconnecting.
Now that Cyrus and Hemsworth are on romantic terms again, sources are confirming that the two are indeed engaged, including his brother Chris Hemsworth.
During an interview with the Australian “Today” show, Chris was asked if his family was preparing for a wedding in the near future, but the actor remained tight-lipped.
“Not that I know of,” said Chris and hinted that the engagement rumors are true. “I saw the very accurate reports on the subject.”
Liam and Cyrus gave their relationship another shot and it looks like they could be planning their wedding soon.
“Miley is beyond happy to be engaged to Liam again,” said a source close to the singer to People magazine. “It might seem sudden, but they have been very close for the past few months.”
A source also told Us Weekly that the two of them are indeed back on and in it for the long haul. The couple has yet to officially confirm the news themselves.
“Miley and Liam are 100 percent back on,” said a source to Us Weekly, adding that the two of them reconciled in April.
Sources told E! News that Cyrus and Liam are definitely back on and she is wearing her gorgeous engagement ring that she co-designed with her fiancé back in 2012.
“The ring is special because Miley and Liam worked on it together,” said a source. “Miley specifically wanted it set in gold. She didn’t want platinum. She liked the gold because it was different and unique, like her. She didn’t want anything classic or generic.”
Another source told E! News, “Miley has never gotten over Liam and always hoped they would get back together. She doesn’t know where it will go but she definitely still loves him and want to be with him. Liam has an interest in being back together, too.”
