Hayden Panettiere has returned to "Nashville."
The actress, who plays Juliette, was spotted on the set of the ABC series. Her co-star Charles Esten, who plays Deacon, also posted a photo of himself and the actress in the wardrobe room of the show's location.
Esten captioned the photo: "The first face I saw as I walked out of my first 'Nashville' audition belonged to this beautiful girl. And she was clapping. Still can't get over that. Such a sweetheart and a friend. So great to see her yesterday." He appended the caption with a hashtag bearing Panettiere's name.
Series showrunner Dee Johnson confirmed that Panettiere will return at some point in the current season in an interview with Deadline.
When asked if the actress will be not be part of the season, the executive producer said: "It's not the entire season, it's just for now. And yes, we've had to make adjustments but it's not uncommon for shows to have to make such accommodations when real life intervenes."

Panettiere took some time off from the show in order to get help from her postpartum depression. The actress took a leave from the show in Oct. 2015, 10 months after she gave birth to her and fiance Wladimir Klitschko's first child, Kaya Klitschko.
The actress recently spoke about her battle in an interview with E! News.
"It made my life better," the actress said. "I do feel and hope it's made other people's lives better and more of an understanding because postpartum depression was not something that I ever understood."
Panettiere continued: "You could never understand it unless you have a personal involvement with it. I didn't realize how much of a stigma it had about it."
