'Orange Is The New Black' Season 4 Spoilers: Laura Pepon Talks Alex's Love-Hate Relationship With Piper

Just like in the previous seasons of "Orange is the New Black," season 4 of the show will place the spotlight on Alex Vause and Piper Chapman's love-hate relationship.
According to Laura Prepon, who plays Alex in the series, her character will be having an "F you Piper" moment although her feelings for Piper (Taylor Schilling) will still be very strong.
"That's their relationship, and that's what's so interesting about them," Prepon told Entertainment Weekly. "They love each other and they hate each other, and it's frustrating and passionate, but there's definitely some vindication there, for sure. Piper thought she was crazy all season, but she wasn't."
Fans won't miss much when season 4 comes back because Prepon said that they'll continue the story without jumping the timeline.
"What's cool is season 4 actually picks up right where season 3 left off. So it's literally, it continues five seconds later, which is really great because at the end of last season...I was in the greenhouse, and there was all this craziness going on and it's awesome," she said.
At the same time, Prepon teased that they will be sharing more backstories and there will be "more people in the prison you'll get to see."
"This season I think is one of our best by far, and I think the fans are going to be really happy," she guaranteed. "Our writers are so good and (creator) Jenji (Kohan) is just so awesome, and they really, we just keep proving ourselves over and over again and Netflix just let's us do our thing, man, it's incredible."
As for Matt McGorry's character Corrections Officer John Bennett, he might or might not return on season 4 to care for his and Daya's (Dascha Polanco) baby.
"Bennett coming back? Who knows! When a man leaves you, can we ever tell if they're coming back or not? We never know," Polanco told Bustle.
"Orange is the New Black" season 4 will premiere on July 18.
