'Prison Break' 2016: Wentworth Miller Says Doing Revival Is A 'Treat'; Sarah Wayne Callies Returning?

"Prison Break" season 5 is happening, and most of the show's original cast members are returning for the reboot.
Wentworth Miller, who starred in the series as Michael Scofield, shared his delight over the show's revival during an appearance on the "Today Show."
"I never imagined that we'd be coming back five or six years later to revisit these characters," the actor said. "This is a treat and a privilege."
Dominic Purcell, who will reprise his role as Lincoln Burrows, has also shared his excitement about the upcoming installment of the show.
"We'll shoot 'Legends [of Tomorrow] and then once 'Legends' is complete, Wentworth and I will go straight into [it]," the actor said, as quoted by The Hollywood Reporter. "We're basically shooting 'Prison Break' straight away."

The actor also assured that fans can expect the same kind of onscreen rapport between him and Miller when the show returns.
"All Wentworth and I do is stay true to the characters, and what's written on the page," the actor said. "And the chemistry and dynamic, that's an innate thing he and I have [that] you can't articulate. We just work well together."
While the two lead actors on the show have already confirmed their involvement in the project, an actress whose character has a huge bearing on the show has not confirmed whether she will return to the series. Sarah Wayne Callies, who played Dr. Sara Tancredi in the show's original run, said that there have been talks between her and Fox, but nothing has been set in stone.
"I've been approached and talks are happening," Callies said in an interview with Forbes. "I don't know where they're gonna go. You know, for me, it's gotta begin and end with the material ... I don't want to do something that feels like a reunion because it would be cool to get the band back together. I want to do something because there's more story to tell."
"Prison Break" has not been given an air date, but the show is expected to air this year.
