A former underdog may be ready to show her competitors what she is really made of.
In MTV's sneak peek of the new episode of "The Challenge: Battle of the Bloodlines," the five remaining bloodline duos--Aneesa and Rianna, Cara Maria and Jamie, Cory and Mitch, Jenna and Brianna and Johnny Bananas and Vince--take part in a grueling new challenge.
The preview shows the competitors doing an army crawl underneath a very tight set of ropes in rocky sand. The stars must then carry a large amount of weight while running uphill, which proves to be a challenge for even the strongest competitors.
"My first initial pickup of this bag, I almost fall over," Cory said. "This peg is just too heavy. There is no way you can run with this heavy of a bag."
The clip shows Cara Maria and Jamie in first place, Johnny Bananas and Vince in second, Cory and Mitch in third, Jenna and Brianna in fourth and Aneesa and Rianna trailing behind in fifth.
Despite their early lead, Cara Maria and Jamie may not be able to hold onto their lead for long.
"I'm dying," Jamie explained. "My legs are burning. My back's hurting. It's just horrible."
Out of nowhere, Aneesa and Rianna quickly advance from last place and begin to make it up the hill faster than their competitors. This is surprising to the rest of the cast.
"This is quite a shock, that Aneesa and Rianna made it this far this fast," Johnny said, before crediting Aneesa for her and Rianna doing so well in this challenge.
Then, Aneesa and Rianna take the lead, and Aneesa feels great to be in the lead with her cousin.
"The guys are gassing out." Aneesa said. "It feels good passing everyone. We have a really good chance of winning. This may, oddly, be our challenge to win."
To see if Aneesa and Rianna can pull of this win, tune in to the new episode of "The Challenge: Battle of the Bloodlines," titled "Out for Blood." The episode airs Wednesday, Jan. 27, at 10 p.m. on MTV.
