Dakota Johnson's secret tattoo caused her to have a butt double in "Fifty Shades of Grey." Will she need the same accommodations for "Fifty Shades Darker?"

According to Entertainment Tonight, the actress reportedly has a tattoo on her posterior.

Since the character of Anastasia Steele is reportedly an innocent, that just didn't work for the film.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" cinematographer Seamus McGarvey revealed that the film had to use a non-tattooed bottom for the film.

"We did have a butt double for Dakota. I had the pleasure of casting a non-tattooed bottom," said McGarvey.

He also revealed some of the other tricks the actors used to keep their private areas private.

"Jamie [Dornan] had a cover over his penis. Dakota [Johnson] had kind of a patch that went over her private area and right around her whole body," he said to The New York Times.

McGarvey also reported that the scenes in the infamous Red Room were notoriously difficult to shoot.

"We did have rehearsals and to make the actors feel comfortable initially, look at how we might photograph the sex," he explained of the process.

"Also, that suited the first few sex scenes, to have a slight awkwardness to them; the camera would be more at a distance. In the Red Room, when things heat up a little bit, that was less choreographed. Sometimes we would use a remotely operated camera head so the actors wouldn't have an operator leaning in," he remarked.

The scenes were difficult to translate from book to film without turning the film into something it was not, pure gratuitous sex on camera.

That job was left to the 90-year-old film editor of "Fifty Shades of Grey," Anne V. Coates, who was in charge of making sure the film's scenes flowed properly.

Coates hopes the second installment of the film is way sexier than the first feature film.

The Hollywood Reporter featured an interview with Oscar-winning film editor Coates, where the senior movie veteran shared working on the sexy drama was "kinda fun."

Fans reportedly had issues with the film, which they felt was softer than the book's hardcore subject matter.
Coates also felt that the film didn't live up to the book's subject matter.

"I thought it could have been a little more raunchy myself," Coates laughed in the interview.

"Creatively, it was quite interesting because they were trying to get as sexy as they could and get an R rating. So we were very delicately going around some of the scenes," she explained of the editing process for the film.

"Fifty Shades Darker" will hit theaters in Feb. 2017.
