"The Flash" executive producer Todd Helbing recently confirmed Barry Allen will return to Earth-2 in an upcoming episode and he will discover if Killer Frost is still alive.
In a previous episode of "The Flash," Earth-2 Dr. Harrison Wells and Cisco managed to rescue Barry Allen as well as Jesse Wells from Zoom.
All four characters managed to return to Earth-1 and close the final breach, but right before the portal closed, Zoom grabbed Jay Garrick and pulled him back to Earth-2.
Entertainment Weekly reported that Helbing hinted viewers have not seen the last of either Earth-2 or Caitlin Snow's evil doppelganger, Killer Frost.
"The Flash" executive producer admitted that fans will see more of Earth-2 in an upcoming episode and Barry will finally find out what happened to Killer Frost, who helped Cisco and Dr. Wells find Zoom's lair.
Previously, Barry met another prisoner while he was being held captive by Zoom who tried to communicate using Morse code and wore an iron mask.
The Flash promised to return to Earth-2 and free the mysterious man, so there's a good chance he will try to figure out a way to re-open the breach.
If Barry and the team do figure out how to travel between worlds in an upcoming episode, there is a good chance that they will launch another rescue mission to save the man in the iron mask and Jay from Zoom's clutches.
While there is always the chance that Zoom murdered Killer Frost for betraying him, it is possible that she managed to escape and went into hiding to avoid the evil speedster.
If Killer Frost survived, perhaps Barry will find her hiding spot and convince her to take part in another rescue mission.
Meanwhile, the CW released the official promotional trailer for "The Flash" season two, episode 15.
Comic Book noted that the preview hinted John Diggle and his wife Lyle will head over to Central City to warn Barry that King Shark has escaped from A.R.G.U.S.
The couple then decided to stay in Central City for a few days in order to help Barry and his team defeat the evil metahuman.
"The Flash" season two is currently airing on Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. on the CW.
