NEW YORK, Feb. 17 (UPI) -- New York Fashion Week kicked off Thursday, Feb. 11, bringing Fall/Winter 2016 trends to runways across the city.
Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss and Yumi Lambert were among the models who showed off monochrome looks, bold prints, textured designs, colorful clutches and warm furs from designers such as Rihanna, Jeremy Scott and Thomas Wylde.
1. Black and white ensembles
Singer Rihanna debuted her FENTY PUMA by Rihanna collection Friday, sending model Gigi Hadid down the runway in a plush coat and pointed-toe stiletto sneakers.
Cushnie Et Ochs featured monochrome pieces as well, including a delicate white top and bottom with black gloves.
2. Prints, prints, prints
