‘Grimm’ Season 5 Spoilers: Hank, Nick Investigate A Local Legend In Episode 8?

NBC recently released the official synopsis for "Grimm" season five, episode eight, which hints that Nick Burkhardt and Hank Griffin team up to investigate a local legend.

According to Carter Matt, "A Reptile Dysfunction" is going to revolve around Nick and Hank investigating a local legend after they discover that a mysterious sighting is tied to a tourist's death at a lake in their area.

As Nick hunts down the mysterious creature who is killing innocent people at a local lake, he is also going to be shown the scope of the Wesen uprising when Hadrian's Wall gives him a tour of their Portland operations center.

Meanwhile, Rosalee's past is going to come back to haunt her and Captain Renard will continue to support a candidate for mayor.

Aside from NBC releasing the official synopsis for episode eight, "Entertainment Weekly about her character Eve.

She warned "

"Juliette is effectively gone. Eve has Juliette's DNA and flesh and blood, but there's no emotional connection to the life Juliette led," Tulloch explained. "After she was kidnapped by Hadrian's Wall, they put two and two together that Juliette was an incredibly powerful Hexenbiest but didn't know how to control her abilities. So they have broken her into submission and turned her into a weapon for Hadrian's Wall. So, you're not going to see much of Juliette because this new character is very different."

Tulloch added that even though Eve works for Hadrian's Wall, she still has free will and is helping them fight Black Claw because it gives her a purpose in life.

"She definitely has her own free will," the actress said. "She has a certain level of autonomy. Hadrian's Wall has broken her into submission, but she's the most powerful thing inside of that building and she knows it. Eve is willing to work with them because she finally found a reason to live."

Finally, Tulloch admitted that Eve has no romantic feelings towards her former boyfriend Nick.

"I'm not sure if Nick is going to try to reach Juliette through Eve in a future episode," she said. "However, Eve knows she needs to protect Nick because he's an asset that can help Hadrian's Wall. It's not that she needs to protect Nick because she still loves him."
