There have been rumors circulating that "Once Upon A Time" star Sean Maguire, who plays Robin Hood in the series, will be making his exit in season 5 and therefore leave Regina Mills (played by Lana Parilla) desperately heartbroken.
When TV Line asked the actor if the rumors were true, Maguire remained evasive about his character's possible death and even drew comparisons to the "Star Wars" franchise.
"We're going to the Underworld, so I don't expect much good stuff is going to happen! But as to where it's going to lead (for Robin), I can't say," he said.
"There are obstacles everywhere - a lot of bad people from the past are coming back and they are not too happy with our heroes. If 'Once Upon a Time' was the 'Star Wars' franchise, this would be 'Empire Strikes Back.' It's going to get dark, it's going to be scary, and there will be surprises," he continued.
Regina hasn't been very lucky when it comes to love, but it was a happy development when she finally found her "soulmate" in Robin and to snatch him away this season would be a cruel twist.
Meanwhile, her enemy-turned-friend Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) is also unlucky when it comes to love. This is why Emma and the rest of her family and friends would be travelling to the Underworld in order to try and save her beau Hook (Colin O'Donoghue).
The only problem is, getting Hook back to Storybrooke will not be easy. In fact, it might not even be possible.
"Who said they can bring back Hook?" show creator Adam Horowitz told Entertainment Weekly.
His co-creator Edward Kitsis even added, "He may die there. To be honest, he's already dead."
"He may die harder," Horowitz further said.
"Once Upon A Time" will return to ABC on March 6.
