"Prison Break" is returning to TV, and it's going to introduce a new character.
Mark Feuerstein has been cast in a recurring role, according to Deadline, and his character will be new to the series.
The actor will play Scott Ness, the husband of Dr. Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies). He is described as a Professor of Economics at Cornell who is suspicious of the government.
It is worth noting, though, that Callies has not signed on for the project yet. The actress said that she is negotiating with Fox, but her involvement in the revival has yet to be confirmed.
"They're trying to make it work, I'm trying to make it work," Callies said, as quoted by Digital Spy. "It's a bit of a Tetris with everyone's schedules because we all have other jobs."

The actress, however, said that she is looking forward to a deal that will benefit her and the studio. An announcement regarding her involvement is expected to be released in March or April.
Robert Knepper, Rockmond Dunbar and Amaury Nolasco have also been in talks with Fox, but deals have yet to be signed.
The "Prison Break" revival will be set five years after the happenings in 2009's "Prison Break: The Final Break."
The revival will also be set in two locations: the U.S. and Yemen.
Fox co-chairman and CEO Dana Walden teased the series' plot and setting in an interview with TVLine, saying: "The story unravels on an international landscape - it's not a domestic [plot]. We open on a very international contemporary-feeling story."
Wentworth Miller (Michael Scofield) and Dominic Purcell (Lincoln Burrows) have already signed on to reprise their roles.
"Prison Break" has not been given a premiere date, but it is expected to air this year.
