Two actors have confirmed their involvement in "American Horror Story" season 6, but many former cast members of the hit FX horror series are still awaiting news about a possible return. And one of them is Emma Roberts, who was part of the show's second and third seasons.
When asked if she will be part of the upcoming installment of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk's show, the actress told Entertainment Tonight: "Hopefully this season!"
The actress was slated to appear in the latter part of the previous season, titled "Hotel," but things did not push through because of a conflict in scheduling.
"Last year, it just didn't work out 'cause I was still shooting 'Scream Queens,'" the actress said. "But now that 'Scream Queens' is shooting [season two] in L.A. and not New Orleans, maybe I'll just have to walk over to the stage and force myself onto the show."
The actress also said that filming a scene with Lady Gaga, who has confirmed her return to the series, is one of her dreams.

This is not the first time the actress has expressed her desire to return on the show and her admiration for Gaga. In an interview with Screen Crush, the actress said she and Murphy had already talked about her possible return.
"We tried to make it work, but I'm leaving town to go do a movie and they're shooting the last two episodes right now, so Ryan and I said next season we'll do something amazing and devilish."
Speaking of the previous season and its lead actress Gaga, who played The Countess of the Hotel Cortez, Roberts said: "I love this season. I watch most of it with my eyes closed, but I think I get the gist. I love Lady Gaga so much, so I was like, 'Next season I want to work with Lady Gaga for sure.'"
"American Horror Story" season 6 is set to air late this year on FX.
