Exes Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez clearly still care for one another despite their split, and this is the reason why Bieber wants Gomez to find happiness, even if it's in the arms of another guy.
"Justin feels awful that Selena thinks relationships are hard after they dated. He never, ever wanted to hurt her or make her have a bad taste in her mouth about future relationships because of their own ups and downs," an insider told Hollywood Life.
"On one hand, the thought of seeing Selena in a serious relationship with someone else would definitely be hard to swallow. But on the other hand, he wants her to be happy. He hopes she can forgive him for past hurts and not let all that old drama stifle her love life or more importantly her self esteem," the source added.
Earlier, Gomez told Music News that among all of her friends - Taylor Swift, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, and Kendall Jenner - she is the only one who does not have a boyfriend.
"None of them are single, just so you know. Taylor is not single, Gigi is not single, neither is Kendall. I am the only single one!" she said.
Since she hasn't been so lucky in the love department, Gomez dedicated most of her time and energy into her work. She is particularly proud of the success of her latest album "Revival."
"This is what I've always loved to do and I had so much to prove, I was in a point in my career where I was very motivated by the chaos that was around me. There was a lot of noise - the world had an opinion on my life and it was a little invasive. I wanted to use that as motivation to write this album and to create something that was authentic and was real and genuine and me. Now I am a little bit more open," she said.
