Has Abby Lee Miller gone too far?
Recently, Abby and star student Maddie Ziegler attended the 2016 People's Choice Awards, where Maddie received the "Seriously Popular" award. This may have been a joyous occasion for Abby and Maddie, but it created some major drama within the cast.
In a new sneak peek of the upcoming episode of "Dance Moms," Abby must decide which of her students she will be taking with her to the People's Choice Awards. Most of the moms had assumed Abby would take one her students who has been with the team for a while, such as Kendall Vertes or Kalani Hilliker.
Abby reveals she is actually going to take new student Brynn Rumfallo with her, despite the fact that Brynn is not yet a permanent member of the ALDC.
"Brynn is, kind of, always on the outs with the kids," Abby explained about why she is choosing to take Brynn to the ceremony. "They don't include her in things, because they can't stand her mother Ashlee. Since I'm considering putting her on the team permanently, I wanna see how this kid behaves. Does she have proper theater etiquette? Does she have the right manners?"
The moms then learn that Abby will be taking Brynn, which infuriates them, because Brynn is not a permanent member of the team yet. The moms think Abby should have chosen to take Kendall Vertes, not only because she has been on the team for several years, but she is also Maddie's best friend.
Abby defends her decision by saying that the other girls have attended many more Hollywood events than Brynn, so it is only fair to let Brynn experience one.
"All these kids have been to award show after award show. Brynn has never been to an event like that," Abby told the moms.
Jill Vertes tells Abby that Maddie's mom, Melissa Gisoni, will be "disappointed" when she finds out that Abby chose to take Brynn. Abby could care less, and she walks away from the moms, because she says this conversation is "not worth the aggravation."
The new episode of "Dance Moms," titled "It All Ends Here," airs Tuesday, Mar. 15, at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
