"Grey's Anatomy" star Sarah Drew has been rather open with how she would like her and Jesse Jackson's characters to resolve their current situation.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan, Drew said: "My heart always moves toward reconciliation. I just want everything to work out and be OK and be happy."
The actress continued: "I want what's best for this baby in every possible way, and I think the best thing for the baby is for Jackson and April to be together and raise the baby together. But that's just because I go toward restoration. That's what I'm prone to."
Despite hoping for the two to reconcile, Drew said April's decision was what makes the most sense for her character.

"She's just doing what is right for her at this point," Drew said. "This is what she's decided is best for this child, and she's going to do everything in her power to protect this child in this way. You can argue with it, and you can look at it and say it's not the right choice. But then she'll just tell you to go f*** off."
This is not the first time that Drew shared how she wanted April and Jackson to end up together.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actress said that she believes the former couple will reunite in the end.
"As long as they're alive, there is always hope," Drew said. "No matter what, they really, desperately love one another. Circumstances have torn them to pieces and they have not been able to, thus far, help one another through those things. They're in a really rough spot, but there is always hope."
