"Mr. Robot" season 2 is coming soon, and a lot of exciting things await fans.
Apart from the gripping story, fans can also expect to see new faces when the show returns. Rapper Joey Bada$$, whose real name is Jo-Vaughn Virginie Scott, has been cast to play the role of Elliot's (Rami Malek) close friend in the upcoming installment of the series created by Sam Esmail, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"The Grief of Others" actor Chris Conroy will also join the show as Tyrell Wellick's wife Joanna's (Stephanie Corneliussen) new love interest. Fans will remember that by the end of the first season, Wellick went missing and abandoned his wife and newborn son.
"Newsroom" alum Grace Gummer's involvement in the show was announced in February. She will play the role of Dominique DiPierro, an FBI agent assigned to investigate the hacking of Evil Corp's system.

Two familiar faces on the show will also be seen more in the upcoming season. Michael Cristofer and Corneliussen have been promoted as series regulars, according to Deadline. Cristofer plays the cunning CEO of Evil Corp, Phillip Price.
Ben Rappaport, who plays Angela's (Portia Doubleday) ex-boyfriend Ollie, and Tom Riis Farrell, who plays Steel Mountain employee Bill, will also reprise their roles.
The show's main cast members will return, as expected. Rami Malek (Elliot), Doubleday, Christian Slater (Edward/Mr. Robot) and Carly Chaikin (Darlene) will all reprise their roles.
B.D. Wong, who appeared in the first season as Dark Army leader Whiterose, will reprise his role as well.
As for the plot, Esmail, Chaikin and Malek said that the new season will be darker than the first and that Elliot's mental struggles will be highlighted.
"Mr. Robot" season 2 has not been given an air date, but it is expected to premiere on the USA network this summer.
