"Teen Wolf" showrunner Jeff Davis has teased a few details about the show's sixth season.
Before the fifth season wrapped up, a Nazi zombie was shown breaking loose. Davis told Seattle PI that the character will play a part in the upcoming installment of the hit MTV show, and it might actually lead them to explore a World War II-themed episode again.
"We had a lot of fun doing the fox and the wolf with the Japanese internment camp episode so we may revisit that," he said.
Apart from the Nazi zombie, another villain will pose a big threat to the show's lead characters.
"There will be another threat that is worrisome," Davis said. "That has to do with the different mythology that we're exploring for season 6, which is a pretty big one for us and technically difficult for us."
As for the overarching themes of the season, Davis said that it will be memory and ghosts.

"We're big fans of genre in the writer's room. With season 5b, we said, 'This is going to be a monster movie,'" Davis said. "With season 6, we have a very clear idea that it's going to be a ghost story ... Memory. Memory plays a big part in season 6."
While the upcoming season of the show sounds exciting, Davis has not discounted the fact that it might be the series' last.
"Who knows if [that] will be the last season or not," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "[But] beyond season six, I'd love for someone else to take over the show. If it still has a life, if there's still stories to tell, that would be great — [to] see maybe Dylan Sprayberry take over the role of the Teen Wolf and see Tyler Posey move into more of a Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin) role. That would be the 'Degrassi High' version."
"Teen Wolf" season six is expected to premiere in June.
