New spoilers for "The 100" season three revealed that Clarke Griffin and John Murphy will be present when the Grounders pick a new commander and Lexa's replacement could order the deaths of the two Skaikru prisoners.
Carter Matt reported that the CW released a behind-the-scenes featurette where "The 100" executive producer Jason Rothenberg revealed that Clarke and Murphy are still being held captive in Polis.
Despite being prisoners, there is a scene in the preview for episode nine that hinted Murphy and Clarke will be present for the ritual where the new commander is chosen.
It will be interesting to see if Titus will persuade the new commander to execute Murphy and Clarke.
However, even if Titus attempted to convince the new commander to kill the two Skaikru prisoners, there is a good chance they will not listen to his council.
After all, every new commander is implanted with a chip containing an artificial intelligence and the memories of previous leaders.
There is a good chance Lexa's spirit will convince her replacement to listen to Clarke's wisdom and remain allies with the Skaikru.
SpoilerTV added that aside from a new commander being chosen, the promotional for "Stealing Fire" hinted that there is a good chance Lincoln will be sentenced to death and his love interest Octavia will be too late to save him.
If Lincoln is killed and Bellamy was somehow involved, this would explain the scene in the preview where Octavia confronted her brother over a recent mistake he made.
Meanwhile, the CW revealed the titles for episodes 10 through 14. SpoilerTV noted that the titles are "Fallen," "Nevermore," "Demons," "Join or Die" and "Red Sky At Morning."
"The 100" season three will return on Wednesday, March 31, at 9 p.m. ET on the CW.
