Tom Hiddleston's Loki is one of the well-loved villains of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and his return in "Thor: Ragnarok" is highly anticipated by fans.
Even Hiddleston himself is looking forward to reprise his role as the god of mischief.
"'Thor 3' will be cool because I've not done it for four years," Hiddleston told The Daily Beast. "I love working with Chris [Hemsworth]. This will be my last time out of the gate."
Given his statement, fans were concerned that "Ragnarok" will be the last film Hiddleston does as Loki. But, he was quick to clarify that he does not know what Marvel's plans for him are.
"Honestly, I don't know," he admitted. "They haven't got their ducks in a row yet. They make it up as they go along."
What Hiddleston is certain of is that it would be "extraordinary" to appear in "Ragnarok" together with Cate Blanchett as the villain Hela.
"I don't know if she's definitely doing it, but obviously she's an extraordinary actress," he said. "If she's up for coming to Asgard, that would be interesting."
Hiddleston also shared that he met up with Hemsworth in Australia, and the lead star was "full of beans" about the third "Thor" installment.
Meanwhile, when Yahoo! Movies asked Hiddleston whether his character will be on Captain America or Iron Man's side in "Captain America: Civil War," he answered that Loki would choose neither.
"He's clearly on Team Loki," Hiddleston laughingly said. "They were all fairly unkind to him in 'The Avengers,' so I'm not sure he would be taking sides."
"I think he would be sitting on a rooftop somewhere enjoying the fact that the children are squabbling. Going, 'Ah! This is entertaining,'" he continued.
"Captain America: Civil War" will make its way to cinemas on May 6. "Thor: Ragnarok," on the other hand, has been scheduled for release on Nov. 3, 2017.
