English actor Theo James, best known for his role as Four in the "Divergent" series, does not place a significant value on material possessions. However, the actor admitted that there are some things that he would willingly splurge on.
"It would probably be a classic car, that's my weakness. I like classic cars, so yeah, if I was going to splurge, it would be that," he told Forbes.
James would love to own an Aston Martin DB4, although he acknowledged that it would "be really impractical, probably break down every 10 seconds."
Aside from classic cars, James would also invest on certain accessories. "A good watch to go with your outfit is extremely important-and a long, black, well-cut, winter or autumn coat," he said.
He cheekily admitted that his favorite brand is Hugo Boss, which he endorses. For watches, he is particular about the brand called Shinola, which he described as "a Detroit make of watch. They're quite a solid brand and they're quite quality when it comes to how they wear."
Going back to James' Hugo Boss endorsement, the actor is the face of the brand's fragrance called BOSS the Scent. James said that the brand is reflective of his personality and lifestyle, which is really important for him.
"When you endorse something, you have to think carefully about it. Obviously, you want to endorse something that is decent, and it needs to reflect a little bit of yourself," he said. "It's quite understated, broad and clean, which I was interested by. The second thing is, you're also playing a different character when you're doing the TV spots. You need to be yourself, but it's also part of the character."
As for his personal style, James told The Theologians that he prefers to keep things simple and masculine. "There are some looks that are kind of out there in terms of color and style - and I say props to whoever is wearing them. I couldn't pull off something wild like that in a hundred years," he said.
