While various rumors have been making the rounds about the relationship between Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift, the two have slowly become comfortable with making their dating life public.
The couple hasn’t been afraid to show that they are together, based on the the various Instagram pictures showing PDA.
We’ve spotted Harris and Swift out and about together a variety of times, and this time, she opens up about her boyfriend and why she adores him so much.
During a recent Q&A with Vogue magazine, Swift opened about why she adores Harris so much.
The interviewer asked Swift, “What is the best gift you’ve ever received?” to which she replied, “My boyfriend planted an olive tree in my yard for Christmas.”
The singer also admitted that one thing that she’s always wanted to try, but has been afraid to do is Coachella. However, she recently overcame that fear by supporting her boyfriend at the music festival.
Swift was at Coachella on Sunday to support her DJ boyfriend, who headlined the festival that night, playing the closing set. She was in the crowd, singing, dancing and cheering the night away, but she got a lot more excited when Harris was joined by Rihanna, who sang “We Found Love.”
Swift shared the festival moment on Twitter and captioned the post, “I’ll NEVER forget this moment. SO INCREDIBLE!! @CalvinHarris @rihanna #coachella.”
During a recent interview with Vogue magazine for their May issue, Swift opened up about some of her “short-term goals,” like being “a well-rounded person who can made a good drink” and learning how to “save somebody if they’re drowning.” However, one thing that she really wants to focus on is her steamy relationship with Harris.
Swift revealed she will be spending more time with her boyfriend, saying, “I’m just taking things as they come. I’m in a magical relationship right now. And of course I want it to be ours, and low-key ... This is the one thing that’s been mine about my personal life.”
“You know, I went out on a normal amount of dates in my early 20s, and I got absolutely slaughtered for it,” said Swift. “And it took a lot of hard work and altering my decision-making. I didn’t date for two and a half years. Should I have had to do that? No.”
Swift feels that she doesn’t need to defend her relationships anymore despite what the haters say.
