A former "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star has been arrested.
According to TMZ, season 6 star Amber Marchese's husband Jim was arrested for domestic violence.
"Law enforcement sources tell us the ex-'RHONJ' stars had just boarded their Virgin America red-eye flight at LAX, and before they took off the airline called cops to report James for grabbing Amber by the throat and threatening to hurt her," the site reported.
Jim was later taken off the plane and booked for felony domestic violence. However, Amber quickly arrived to the police station to bail him out.
TMZ also captured a video of Amber and Jim leaving the police station, where Jim promised to sue Virgin America for the arrest.
"I guess Virgin Atlantic wanted to take care of my kid's scholarship fund," Jim told TMZ about his plans to sue the airline.
Despite the major drama going on in Amber's life, she will no longer appear on "RHONJ." After her one season on the show, Amber confirmed she and Jim decided it would be best to exit.
"Jim and I have been giving 'Real Housewives or New Jersey' a lot of thought and given the current state of affairs regarding our personal lives and the direction of the show, we officially decided to move on," Amber told People last year. "The show was not what we expected it to be, and I want to pursue more suitable endeavors."
She added, "I was picked on a casting call while pursuing acting, and the person that was presented was created for the show. I had little control over content, situations, or what they decide to show the viewers."
Amber has yet to comment on her husband's arrest.
Season 7 of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" is set to premiere early this summer on Bravo.
