New spoilers for "Castle" season eight revealed that Rick Castle and Kate Beckett are going to try to help Hayley Shipton avoid jail time after she is implicated in a cyber-terrorist attack.
Carter Matt reported that episode 18 is going to revolve around Rick and Kate trying to keep their friend Hayley out of jail.
In "Backstabber," Hayley is implicated in a cyber-terrorist attack after she tried to help out an old friend. It is up to Rick and Kate to clear her name before she is arrested and thrown in jail.
SpoilerTV noted that ABC released new promotional images for "Backstabber" that showed Hayley trying to plead innocence in front of Rick and Kate.
The photos hinted that Detectives Esposito and Ryan are skeptical about her story, but there is a good chance that Rick believes that she is innocent.
It is possible that Kate is going to be on the fence about whether or not Hayley is lying and it will be up to Rick to convince his wife that his friend did not participate in the cyber-terrorist attack.
Once Kate has been convinced of Hayley's innocence, it will be interesting to see her help her husband try to clear their friend's good name.
Aside from the new synopsis for "Castle" episode 18, ABC released a new promotional trailer for "Death Wish."
SpoilerTV pointed out that "Death Wish" is going to revolve around Rick and Kate trying to figure out who killed a Turkish antiques smuggler.
The preview hinted that the smuggler was killed because it was believed that he owned the real Aladdin's lamp and now the other relic hunters in New York City want to get their hands on the item.
There is another scene in the trailer that suggested Rick and Kate are going to have to outwit the murderer in order to get their hands on the lamp before someone else is killed.
"Castle" season eight is currently airing on Monday nights at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
