"Dancing with the Stars" competitor Jodie Sweetin was praised by "Fuller House" co-stars Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler) for her sober life after beating drug addiction.
The "Fuller House" stars appeared on the popular ABC reality dance competition in support of Sweetin, whom the twosome have known since she was a child.
Coulier, who plays Joey Gladstone on the Netflix revival revealed that he realized years ago that Sweetin would some day be a star when the two appeared together on ABC's "Full House."
He also sang her praises for overcoming her previous and difficult battle with substance abuse.
"When you see somebody that you truly love go through a difficult time and come out the other side of it and do so well, it's kind of like the gates [of heaven] open. It's just a great feeling!" Coulier said.
Andrea Barber, who plays Kimmy Gibbler also knew that Sweetin was something special.
"If you saw her 'Motownphilly' dance on 'Full House' back in the day, you know that that girl has just got dancing in her genes. She was born to be on camera, she was born to be out on that dance floor and I'm so excited for her to be on this show," said Barber of Sweetin's time on season 22 of "DWTS."
Sweetin has certainly emerged as one to watch on the ABC reality dance competition series, scoring well her first three weeks on the show.
The actress is grateful for not only her current career resurgence but her sober life as well.
"My life is amazing now," the actress revealed to People.
"I will have five years [of sobriety] in March. It's given me a lot of gratitude," she revealed.
The actress also revealed that she talks to college students about her addictions and how she was able to overcome them.
"I speak about my experience growing up in the entertainment business, what my life was like after, some of the struggles and things I went through and where my life is today," she remarked.
"Dancing With the Stars" airs on ABC Mondays at 8 p.m. EST.
