The fourth season of "Devious Maids" is just around the corner, and fans can expect more murder, mystery and mayhem.
According to a press release from Spoiler TV, executive producer Eva Longoria will make a guest appearance in the season 4 premiere, but that won't be the only surprise. Murder and mystery are both huge parts of the "Devious Maids" aesthetic and that is not going to change in the coming season.
There will be a new murder mystery for Marisol, Rosie, Carmen and Zoila to solve.
The press release also states that after a life-changing event, Evelyn will rely on Marisol for support. Fans will remember that Adrian's fate is still unknown. Last we saw him he was trapped in the Powell house when it exploded, does he make it out alive? The press release seems to be pointing at the end of Adrian.
Speaking of hanging in the balance, we left Zoila in a similar situation. At the end of season 3, after complications during childbirth, Zoila was still unconscious. According to the press release, Rosie will step in to help Genevieve. Does that mean Zoila is still unconscious? Recovering? Or just taking some time off?
Meanwhile, Carmen is still chasing her dreams when her cousin Daniela, played by newcomer Sol Rodriguez, strolls into town and stirs some trouble.
Marisol has been unlucky in love in the last few seasons, and it does not look like that is going to change. According to the press release, "Marisol finds herself in a new relationship, which eventually becomes a complicated triangle when her old flame Jesse reappears."
Who will Marisol's new love interest be? Both Carlos Ponce and Ryan McPartlin are joining the cast for season 4, maybe Marisol will snag one?
A lot is up in the air, but we can all be certain that the new season will be filled with scandal, murder, mystery and, of course, drama.
"Devious Maids" season 4 premieres, June 6, 9 p.m. EDT on Lifetime.
