"Dancing with the Stars" pro-Mark Ballas' recent Instagram post shows him excited over rehearsal footage taken of partner Paige VanZant. Does that mean he will be able to dance after a recent back injury?
Ballas had to step out of last week's performance with VanZant after realizing he injured himself during the couple's last-minute rehearsals the Sunday prior to the Monday show.
Ballas subsequently had to step down from the competition for week two.
In his place, VanZant danced with troupe member Alan Bersten, whom Ballas personally picked to partner with the MMA fighter in his place.

The couple scored 24 out of 30 judge's points, securing their spot at the top of the leaderboard.
Bersten only had two hours to learn the dance he ended up performing with VanZant.
Ballas' recent Instagram posts could be evidence that his back injury isn't serious enough to keep him out of the competiton for season 22.
In a video he posted Saturday, Ballas was seen smiling, watching rehearsal footage on his phone.
According to the website Pure DWTS, the two will be dancing to "300 Violin Orchestra" by Jorge Quintero this week.
Subsequently, that was the song that was playing in the Instagram video shared by Ballas.
Ballas also posted a photo of himself in a cryotherapy chamber. He is likely using that method of pain management to treat his injured back.
Cryotherapy is used to treat pain and minor injuries.
Ballas said during an interview with E! News that his doctors seemed optimistic.
"I'm feeling good about it," Ballas stated. He also remarked, "No time-frame yet, but I don't want to let Paige down. I want to be there with her, she's fantastic."
VanZant said in an interview with The Sacramento Bee, "I'm learning all types of new dance moves. I've never done ballroom dancing. I've never even worked with a partner before."
"I'm not just a fighter and a tough girl. I have a feminine side, too," she said in the interview.
"Dancing with the Stars" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
