"Fuller House" star Lori Loughlin fired back to critics of her Netflix series "Fuller House" in the sweetest way possible during an interview with CBS News.
Said the actress of negative reviews of the wildly popular series reboot, "I haven't read one bad review. I don't even know what they are."
"Listen, critics didn't embrace it the first time. I think any critic that takes a swipe at "Full House" is like taking the family dog. The dog brings you joy and happiness and makes you forget your problems, and that's all 'Full House' does. Literally, taking a potshot at that show is like taking the family dog," she quipped.
Loughlin is thrilled to be back on the series where she not only became a household name, but made lifetime friends.
"Oh my God, I hate them," she laughed of her "Fuller House" co-stars, including John Stamos.
"I really hate them. It's torture. No! It was fun! It was really fun. We had a great time together, but we always had a good time together," she shared.
Loughlin then explained that once the show wrapped its initial run back in 1995, the cast remained friendly.
"Over the years, we all saw each other, so I think it was a little more surreal being back in that environment and on that old set together. It was surreal for a moment and then it was like we'd never stepped away," she stated.
The actress is thrilled that the show was given a second chance on Netflix, where they have a bit more freedom to explore different scenarios than on network television, where a reunion would have likely been a one-shot movie.
"I don't think any of us wanted to do a reunion movie. It had to be the right project. It took them a long time to find a home for them and I think Netflix is the perfect place -- it makes it even that much cooler," revealed Loughlin.
"Fuller House" has wrapped season one. The full batch of episodes can be streamed on Netflix.
