Just hours after she revealed her newest campaign with Saint Laurent, model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne took to twitter to settle some rumors about her career—and her life. After launching her film career (her performance in Paper Towns was applauded), it was assumed she was leaving the world of fashion behind.
But, in what Delevingne referred to as a "rant", she revealed that she "suffer[s] from depression and was a model during a particularly rough patch of self hatred." She went on to say that she is learning not to "pick apart every flaw."
She has three more movies coming out this year and next: Absolutely Fabulous, Suicide Squad, and Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (though, as die-hard fashion followers, we have to admit that we're probably most excited for Ab Fab). Read on for the complete explanation from Delevigne.
Can we just set the record straight...

I am so lucky for the work I get to do but I used to work to try and escape and just ended up completely exhausting myself.

I am focusing on filming and trying to learn how to not pick apart my every flaw. I am really good at that
