"Jill & Jessa: Counting On" star Jessa Duggar has been Mommy-Shamed for posting a photo of her son on Instagram seated in his car seat next to husband Ben Seewald.
Critics slammed the reality star for leaving her baby in the seat while she and her husband enjoyed some time at a local Arkansas coffee shop, citing that it is dangerous to leave your child in an upright position in a car seat for long.
Duggar posted the cute pic with the caption, "Mama Carmen's coffee shop with my guys."
The seemingly innocent photo of the 5-month-old son boy named Spurgeon showed the baby seated directly next to his father, Ben Seewald, who was reading a book in a chair beside him.
Instagram user rebekkarobsham saw nothing wrong with the incident.
She made a comment which said, "Get a life. He's not sleeping and mommy and daddy are right there. If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all!"
Another user named tinafoote79 said, " I can not believe how many judgmental people follow the Duggars!"
Still another named lorrainechamberlin said, "Cute boys, so intent on what they're studying ... one a book, the other a very important giraffe!"
Critics of the Duggar family continue to shame the family for the innocent choices they make.
Instagram user debbiewinters said, "Not supposed to leave a child strapped in there car seat, too many babies have died that way."
"It is dangerous to leave an infant in a car seat as their main place to be," commented brynnesanity.
Critics of the family have also cited modesty issues with innocent photos of the baby posted on Instagram where the child was photographed in a onesie with his legs exposed.
"Jill & Jessa: Counting On" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
