"Pretty Little Liars" season 7 is approaching, and fans are eager to know what kinds of challenges and fun moments the liars of Rosewood will get into next. Seeing how things will pan out for Hanna, Aria, Spencer and Emily in terms of their love lives, is also something fans are looking forward to.
Series creator Marlene King has already teased a few things that might happen, but nothing has been set in stone. Shay Mitchell, who plays Emily, has offered her thoughts about what she would like for her character.
"I hope that she finds somebody that she cares deeply about," Mitchell told Bustle. "It'd be nice to have someone in Emily's life that is special to her this season."
The actress added: "I know that last season, a lot of the fans were saying that Emily didn't have much of a love life. My answer to them was just that she'd had a revolving door of girls ever since the series began, so maybe she needed a little bit of a break."

Could the person Emily would build a relationship with be Alison (Sasha Pieterse)?
Pieterse teased the possibility that Emily and Alison might finally be together during an interview with TVLine, saying: "There's always hope for Emison ... Everybody wants them together, right? Emison End Game! Honestly, though, I'm all for it. The fans really love Emison."
King has also teased that the two might finally get together for real. When asked by a fan on Twitter if Emily still has feelings for Alison, she said: "You will need to wait and see. But it feels like it lately."
The producer also teased exciting things to come for fans of the pair, saying: "Emison fans — I think they're gonna have fun this next season seeing what me and Sasha are getting up to and what our characters are doing. I think they're going to be happy with it."
"Pretty Little Liars" season 7 will debut June 21 on Freeform.
