A new "Real Housewife" is putting some rumors to bed.
Tiffany Hendra's past has been highly talked about, ever since she was confirmed to be a full-time cast member on Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Dallas." Tiffany was believed to have been an adult film star, but she is finally setting the record straight.
While speaking with Us Weekly, Tiffany opened up about her appearance on the series "Black Tie Nights," which is where the porn allegations stemmed from.
"It was a series for Cinemax," Tiffany explained. "I was hired for my acting ability."
Tiffany revealed that, in the series, she went topless and engaged in "love scenes," but she was adamant that the series was not pornographic.
"My nudity rider said that they couldn't show below my belly button or below the top of my butt," she said, before adding, "No one is calling Game of Thrones stars porn artists!"
Despite making headlines for her past, Tiffany said she had "no regrets" and knew what she was getting herself into, prior to joining the Cinemax series.
"I do own the fact that I knew I was taking my clothes off," she confirmed.
Tiffany later opened up about her abusive past. Due to this traumatic experience, the "RHOD" star now spends her time blogging about women empowerment.
"I was sexually assaulted when I was 16, but kept it a secret until I was 31. I felt shame," she said. "All the pain that I did go through, I use that for a purpose now. Helping women love themselves - that is my intention."
No matter what happened in Tiffany's past, she always makes sure to stay positive, which seemed to be the inspiration behind her season 1 tagline.
"I came home to Dallas to shine my light, not to fight," Tiffany said in the show's intro.
Tiffany stars on "The Real Housewives of Dallas," which premieres Monday, Apr. 11, at 10 p.m. on Bravo.
