One of Bollywood’s most successful actors, Shahrukh Khan, has already signed three new films for 2016. With an overwhelming schedule, new reports are stating that SRK siged another project.
After successfully releasing “Dilwale,” SRK wrapped up “Fan” and is currently shooting “Raees.” He has a very busy schedule, but that doesn’t stop him from signing another deal to fulfill his three-films-a-year deal. Gauri Shinde recently announced that her next untitled film would star SRK and Alia Bhatt as leading roles.
Now we’re getting some behind-the-scene details into the new movie, including who SRK and Bhatt play in the film.
According to Bollywood Life, SRK plays the love guru in the film who helps Bhatt manage the affection of four men who enter her life. The four men will be played by Ali Zafar, Aditya Roy Kapur, Kunal Kapoor and Angad Bedi. SRK will help her fine her one true love among these men who are promising her eternal love.
“I did this film with Gauri Shinde, even though it is just about two-three days’ work. I am Shah Rukh Khan, I need not do it, but then I really had a lot of fun doing it,” said SRK during a recent interview, hinting that he has a cameo in the film rather than a full-fledged role.
Bhatt says that interacting with SRK on the sets of Shinde’s next film gave her a lot of information about work and life.
“It was lovely working with him on the show and on Gauri’s film when we recently shot in Goa. He’s probably the only actor or person in the world whom I probably don’t mind staying awake till 3 a.m. for, just to be able to hang out or interact with him,” said Bhatt.
"He's a late bird and doesn't sleep because of which I landed up staying awake many a night. I totally don't mind because I am getting to learn and absorb so much from him. Shah Rukh is a fantastic person to be around and it's a pleasure to work with him because he's so giving and he takes so much care of you. I can't wait to get back on set again with him," added Bhatt.
The director recently broke her silence on the plot of the film and it’s apparently not your “typical lover story.”
“All I can say is that the film isn’t a typical love story. It’s not about a romantic relationship in the usual manner that a man and a woman share,” said Shinde according to Filmi Beat.
