One of Bollywood’s most successful actors, Shahrukh Khan, has already signed three new films in 2016, and it appears that he might be ready to book another movie with Ranveer Singh.
SRK is currently filming "Fan," "Raees," and will start shooting for another film with Alia Bhatt, however, he continues to book other projects.
According to Bollywood Life, SRK, Singh will be coming together for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next production, which will be directed by Shimit Amin.
Although this would be SRK and Singh’s first time doing a film together, this will be Amin’s second time directing SRK and first time with Singh.
Seeing SRK and Singh together in one film definitely calls for an epic collaboration since they are two of the hottest Bollywood stars in the industry. Singh is on a hight of his career after his great performance in “Ram Leela” and “Bajirao Mastani,” both which starred Deepika Padukone. However, he is currently busy filming for “Befikre” in Paris.
In the mean time, SRK had a great success with “Dilwale,” which released on the same day as “Bajirao Mastani.” He is now getting ready to release his upcoming film “Fan” and is currently wrapping up “Raees.”
SRK will be playing himself in “Fan,” which has a double role where he plays the superstar as well as his biggest fan.
“‘Fan’ has been the most difficult film of my life and at the same time it’s the most special film as well,” said SRK to Bollywood Life.
“‘Fan’ is not just about the love of the fan for his favorite superstar. In the film, eventually Guarav and Aryan are pitted against each other and it’s the superstar who plays the nemesis to the fan,” said a source about the film.
SRK will be playing two different ages in the film and confirms, “What I do in ‘Fan’ is what the film is about. Gaurav is 25 years old in the film and it’s not because I want to play or look like a 25-year-old in my film. It’s a story about a 25-year-old fan and a 45-year-old superstar. The character of Aryan Khanna has still not been introduced so when we reveal his look, the difference should be evident. When the comparison will come to the fore, it will look really beautiful, inshallah!”
