Even though Australian actor Chris Hemsworth could not be more thrilled with his new leading lady Jessica Chastain, who plays Sara the Warrior in their upcoming film "The Huntsman: Winter's War," Hemsworth still hopes that he will get the chance to work with former leading lady Kristen Stewart.
Stewart played Snow White in the 2012 film "Snow White and The Huntsman" directed by Rupert Sanders, while Hemsworth was her leading man Brighton the Huntsman.
The film was a success; however, a few months after its release, it was discovered that Stewart had an affair with Sanders, who was still married at the time.
Stewart was crucified by the media for her affair, especially since she was still going out then with "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson. She, together with Sanders, were barred from being a part of any franchise prequels or sequels.
But if it's up to Hemsworth, he'll have the actress back in a heartbeat. "She's [Stewart] fantastic, it was a great film," Hemsworth told WENN, according to YOU. "She helped set up what we're doing now so I'd love to work with her again and if we have the opportunity to pick up that story again I think there's a lot of room for creative versions of what we've already done."
Hemsworth revealed that they already have big plans for the franchise, even while they were still making the first film.
"We were talking about the Huntsman's film, we were talking about a Snow White sequel and if there's an audience for either or both then fantastic," he said. "That was the whole idea to do something different and then whether we segue more directly into that then well who knows."
As for Stewart, she has gotten so used to people talking about her life and relationships that she does not really mind now what the gossip mills are churning.
"Google me, I'm not hiding," Stewart told Nylon Magazine. "I am an actress, man. I live in the [expletive] ambiguity of this life and I love it."
"The Huntsman: Winter's War," which is directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, will make its way to cinemas on April 22.
