"X-Men: Apocalypse" star Jennifer Lawrence is like a breath of fresh air in Hollywood because she is not afraid to speak her mind and raise eyebrows because of her wacky antics.
Lawrence's free spirit and candid nature has really impressed fellow award-winning actress Shirley MacLaine, 81, who also danced to her own beat during the height of her career.
MacLaine told Entertainment Tonight that she has a soft spot for Lawrence because she sees so much of herself in the young actress, and this is why she wants to give her a piece of advice.
"Never leave Kentucky. Be yourself," MacLaine told Lawrence.
MacLaine added that it's "fascinating" what attracts her to stars like Lawrence nowadays, but the most important things for her are: "Humor, intelligence, and they can't be skinny or little. They've got to be big and potentially dominating. It gives me something to do."
Another star who is interested in Lawrence is "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor Ben Affleck.
"Ben thinks that Jennifer Lawrence is a great actress and he loves her look," an insider told Radar Online.
Even though some people would like to assume that Affleck has romance on his mind when it comes to Lawrence, the truth is that his interest is purely work-related.
"Ben wants to do a movie with her," noted the insider, adding that Affleck "wants to challenge her to do a different kind of film."
One of the reasons why Affleck, 43, is so attracted to the 25-year-old Lawrence is because she reminds him of how his ex-wife Jennifer Garner "used to be."
The insider explained that Garner "was once the new 'it' girl" too, and she did all of her own stunts, just like what Lawrence is doing now.
"They've been emailing and talking about scripts," the insider further shared. "He wants to get coffee or lunch with her, and he's trying to do what he normally does, which is to arrange a 'working date' in Ventura [outside L.A.] in order to stay off the radar."
