"X-Men: Apocalypse" star Nicholas Hoult was inevitably linked to "Twilight" actress Kristen Stewart after the pair worked on the science fiction drama "Equals," directed by Drake Doremus.
Their on-screen chemistry was so powerful that Hoult understands why the public would assume that they were dating in real life.
"Of course there's always going to be speculation on those things," Hoult told PEOPLE. "But there's also a whole business behind people kind of fueling those fires and creating speculation out of nothing."
When Hoult was asked if he could share an interesting detail about Stewart that the public does not know about, he answered, "She's a brilliant cook."
The actor then admitted that he hasn't even tasted any of Stewart's dishes, but he can attest that "she can really cook."
Meanwhile, Hoult is more excited to talk about his upcoming mutant movie "X-Men: Apocalypse," which stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence.
"I was with James McAvoy the other day and we were discussing the potential of coming back for more, because obviously all of us guys signed up for three movies and now we've done those obligated films," he said.
"I think we all have a lot of fun hanging out together we love the whole cast and crew, so if they wanted us back I think most of us would be willing and happy to go back," he added.
Even Lawrence feels the same way. Despite rumors that she and Hoult were constantly bickering on the set, Lawrence is actually keen to do more "X-Men" films.
"I am dying to come back [as Mystique]," she told Empire. "I love these movies, I love being in them. I love ensemble movies because it's not on anyone's shoulders."
"X-Men: Apocalypse," which is directed by Bryan Singer, will be released on May 27.
