New spoilers for "Grimm" season five hinted that the wesen vigilante group Black Claw is going to kill Nick Burkhardt's friend Hank Griffin during the finale.
Carter Matt reported that NBC released the official synopsis for the first half of the two-hour season five finale.
In episode 21, Black Claw is going to make a strategic move against Hank that forces Nick to go on the warpath and leaves the rest of his friends in shock.
Elsewhere, Hadrian's Wall is going to investigate a mysterious man named Bonaparte while Adalind Schade and Captain Renard have to deal with an issue surrounding their daughter Diana.
SpoilerTV also noted that NBC released a promotional image for "Beginning Of The End Parts One And Two" that hinted Nick is going to get captured by Black Claw.
It is possible that Black Claw kills Hank in an attempt to lure Nick into a trap. Perhaps he will become so vengeful that he tries to go after the vigilante group without any backup and winds up getting captured.
There is a good chance Black Claw will engineer Hank's death in an attempt to have a Grimm on their side when they fight Hadrian's Wall.
Aside from Black Claw potentially killing Hank, there is also the chance that Adalind and Captain Renard are going to discover that their daughter Diana is manifesting strange new powers.
It is possible that Captain Renard will tell Black Claw about Diana's abilities and they could try to use her as a weapon against Hadrian's Wall.
Perhaps Black Claw will try to groom Diana and use her as a weapon against their enemies. If that is the case, then there is a chance there could be a showdown between Eve and Adalind's daughter in the finale.
"Grimm" is currently airing on Friday nights at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
