Leslie Jones is done feeding the trolls. Now, she's exposing them.

The Ghostbusters star is calling out the racist social media users who have viciously been attacking her since the debut of her film—many of whom found fault that the Paul Feig-directed film was remade with all women. (Despite the negative press, the reboot—which also stars comedy powerhouses Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Kristen Wiig—took the number two spot at the box office this past weekend.)

The actress originally tweeted that she was going to block the "disgusting" people sending her "perverted sh-t." But then, an angry and upset Jones revealed just how terrible the images and tweets she was receiving were.

Jones then decided to stop blocking the racist social media users to expose the hate. She called it "evil" and "f-cking scary."

What followed was a string of retweets filled with harsh, ugly words about Jones's appearance and race. (Some of the following tweets are explicit and NSFW.)

The actress then began sharing her raw emotions, saying she felt "numb" in face of the vitriol.

Jones also tweeted that, despite being an actress, she is still human and shocked she still has to fight for black lives matter.

Jones also called out Twitter for not having stricter guidelines (and not just frozen accounts) which control and deter online bullying.

The actress continued that she was in a "personal hell" and was extremely upset by the hateful actions and words of people online.

A very saddened Jones then said she would be quitting Twitter.

Ghostbusters director Paul Feig came to Jones' defense, saying that any attack on Jones is an attack on everyone. Before long, several fans and celebrities shared their outrage against the treatment of Jones using the hashtag #LoveForLeslieJ. Others called out Twitter for its lack of regulation on offensive content.

The social media storm caught the attention of Twitter execs—Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey messaged Jones asking her to contact him about the situation.

No word yet on how the offensive content is being addressed, but here's hoping that Twitter's outpouring of support helps Jones overcome the hostility she endured.
