The retailer denies claims that it labelled the products falsely on two occasions in 2014 in its shop in Dumfries.

Edinburgh Woollen Mill is challenging the testing process used by the local trading standards team, The Guardian reports.

When tested, the scarves were allegedly found to contain 84.4% cashmere and 61.6% cashmere, with the remainder made up of other wool fibres.

The case continues.
