"Game of Thrones" star Maisie Williams recently made a few cryptic comments regarding the fate of Jon Snow and HBO released a new teaser for the upcoming sixth season.
Williams, who plays Arya Stark on "Game of Thrones," attended the London Film Critic's Circle Awards on Sunday night and briefly spoke about the new season.
According to Vanity Fair, the actress hinted that there is going to be a major twist regarding Jon's fate in the show.
"I feel so mean because I speak to people and they're all asking about Jon Snow's return," Williams explained. "It's a great twist but I can't say he's going to be alive."
Given Williams' comment, it is possible that Jon is going to lose a piece of his soul if Melisandre resurrects him and that means he is never going to be entirely happy.
However, it is also possible that the Night's King, who was glimpsed at the end of the battle of Hardhome in season five, could bring Jon back by turning him into a White Walker.
Aside from the questions surrounding Jon's fate, HBO recently released a new teaser trailer on Twitter.
The preview shows mainly recycled footage from previous seasons of "Game of Thrones," but there's one new scene that shows Jaime Lannister wearing his golden armor while on horseback.
In "Game of Thrones" season five, Jaime's twin sister Cersei ordered him to go back to Dorne and retrieve their daughter Myrcella, who was bethrothed to Prince Doran Martell's son Trystan.
Unfortunately, the widow of Prince Doran's brother Oberyn conspired with her daughters to poison Myrcella before she left Dorne because they wanted revenge on House Lannister.
It is possible this scene is from Jamie's journey back to King's Landing and he is dreading the thought of having to tell his sister that her daughter is dead.
The "Game of Thrones" season six premiere will air on Sunday, April 24, at 9 p.m. on HBO.
