After a great success with “Kick” and “Bajrangi Bhaijaan,” Salman Khan has been approached to play the lead in “Sultan.” We've been hearing a lot of rumors about the film and fans are eager for the film to release, and now we're getting another teaser from the film.
There has been a lot of speculation as to who will be the leading lady in the film. However, now Anushka Sharma has finally been announced as the actress to star opposite of Khan.
Now that a leading lady has finally been announced, Sharma has already started filming for her part in the movie. She even went to Instagram to show off some teasers from the film on the sets of “Sultan.”
In one photo, Sharma is sen in a white dress sitting in front of the mirror, while getting her makeup done.

Sharma is reportedly not going to be all glammed-up for her role, but will be playing a female wrestler in “Sultan,” which will be more action packed. Fans apparently have high expectations from Sharma considering that Khan will also be a wrestler in the film.
This will be the first time that Khan and Sharma will be starring in a movie together.
There have been reports stating that “Sultan” was going to have two leading ladies in the film, but Sharms confirmed, “No. It’s just me.” She also talked about the clash between “Sultan” and Shahrukh Khan’s “Raees.”
“Personally, I feel there are enough audience and appetite for good films. So, if films are good, it doesn’t matter.” said Sharma according to Filmi Beat.
It looks like rumors about the leading lady can finally be put to rest now that Sharma has been confirmed. Previous reports stated that Khan’s ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif approached him to star in the film. She allegedly asked him to cast her in his upcoming movie since he was apparently still looking for a leading lady.

The Ali Abbas Zafar directed film is slated to release sometime in July of this year.
