After completing two stints in rehab for drugs and alcohol addiction, Zac Efron has been keeping clean and working hard. It looks like Vanessa Hudgens’ ex-boyfriend is getting his life back on track as he work on his newest movie, “Dirty Grandpa.”
Efron, Robert De Niro, Zoey Deutch and Aubrey Plaza were filming for the movie in Tybee Island in Georgia a few months ago and a few sneak peeks have finally been released.
Efron recently shared some new clips with De Niro on his Instagram page to help promote his new film, which released today.
One clip shows the two actors referencing acting to meat in a comedic way.
Efron captioned the video, “‘I don’t know what the f*** you’re talking about. Just cut the crust.’ - Bob.”

Efron shows another photo of himself, De Niro and two other in an ice cream truck, but you can see the green screen in the background. “I’m so stoked! #DirtyGrandpa is in theaters TOMORROW #JAN22! I’ll be sneaking in to all the theaters around the world to watch it with you. Look out for the shady guy in the beanie,” Efron revealed in the photo.

Efron previously shared a photo from the film on Instagram and it shows Efron and De Niro together on the beach, but no, they’re not shirtless. Efron is seen in a blue button up checkered shirt with a sweater around his shoulders and sunglasses, while De Niro sports a floral button up shirt, sunglasses and a hat.
“I look like someone I’d never want to be friends with and Bob looks like Fear and Loathing @dirtygrandpa #dirtygrandpa,” Efron captioned the photo.
In an international version of the trailer for “Dirty Grandpa,” Efron shows off his hot body. At the end of the trailer, he is seen with just a stuffed animal tied around his waist to hide one private part. A child then rushes at him and grabs the toy, leaving him fully unclothed in public, but from the behind-the scene photos, he was actually wearing skin colored underwear.
The trailer also shows Efron dancing to the Macarena partially naked after being dared to bare (nearly) all one wild night.
In another video, it shows Robert De Niro’s character, Dick, admitting that he hasn’t “had sex in 15 years and” and he wants to do is “f***, f***, f***, f***.”
Efron’s uptight character, Jason, doesn’t stand a chance steering clear of his grandpa’s shenanigans when they get pulled along to party with some attractive locals. The result is one booze and drug-fueled night with Dick and Jason partying down in Daytona Beach, Fla.
At one point, Jason strips down to nothing but a stuffed animal hornet tied around his waist as he does the Macarena.
The movie follows foulmouthed Grandpa Dick (De Niro) and his straight-laced grandson Jason (Efron) during their road trip from Atlanta to a retirement community in Boca Raton, Fla. Jason’s last minute trip doesn’t sit well with his controlling fiancé (Julianne Hough), who can’t believe that he would leave her to finalize wedding plans just days before their nuptials. In the mean time, his grandpa does everything he can to get Jason to loosen up, and that’s when all the trouble stars.
