Is "19 Kids and Counting" star Jessa Duggar unable to cope with motherhood on her own? Is she relying on both her mother and sisters to help her through the difficult days of newborn life with son Spurgeon?
Duggar revealed in an interview with People Magazine that she has her family near and far to support her when she finds new motherhood too exhausting or challenging.
Duggar revealed she relies on mom Michelle Duggar for her "wisdom."
The 49-year-old is a mother of 19 children and a grandmother to six.
"She has raised just about every personality type, so I really enjoy learning from her," Duggar remarked in her interview with People.
"But my baby is really still young, so most of my questions these days are about breastfeeding and when to change diaper sizes," the reality star commented on just what her biggest concerns are at the moment.
Jessa Duggar also revealed to People that she relies on the advice of her big sister Jill, who is currently living in Central America with husband Derick Dillard and their son Israel.
Israel Dillard just recently went through most of the changes baby Spurgeon is experiencing, so Jessa Duggar relies on Jill Duggar to give her sound advice, even from thousands of miles away.
"I have the opportunity to video-chat with her," revealed the "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" star remarked of her big sister, whose son Israel is 11-months-old.
"[We] catch up and talk about how Israel is progressing and [I'll] ask her a question about having a little baby. She is a really great resource for me," explained Jessa Duggar of her sister.
Jessa Duggar also relies on the help of sisters Jana, Jinger and Joy-Anna, who pitch in with Spurgeon when they are able, as seen by the family's Facebook posts of the sisters enjoying time with their nephew.
Both Jill and Jessa Duggar's lives as young parents will be highlighted in the new TLC series, "Jill & Jessa: Counting On," which airs March 15 at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
