"American Horror Story" season 6 star Angela Bassett has teased a few details about her character in the upcoming installment of the hit FX show.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actress said that she still doesn't know much about her role, but series co-creator Ryan Murphy teased one trait about her character.
"I don't have a clue," the actress admitted, adding, "I think I'm an alcoholic. That's all I know but I don't know where, why, what made me so."
Bassett first teased her character when she confirmed her return to the show during an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
"He did tell me at the Golden Globes that I would imbibe a little bit too much, and yet I was very intuitive also, and maybe Sarah [Paulson] was somehow the boss of me," she said.

The actress also confirmed that apart from starring on the show, she will also be on board as a director for a couple of episodes of the upcoming season.
"[I'll direct] at lease one [episode]," Bassett said during an appearance on "The Chew." "We usually have male directors but [I'll] be the first female director."
Sitting on the director's chair is not something new to Bassett. The actress's most recent work behind the camera was Lifetime's Whitney Houston biopic.
Bassett's confirmation of the stint comes a month after Murphy launched a foundation that aims to solve the lack of diversity in Hollywood, particularly the lack of women in production.
"The industry has always been about, you come to us," Murphy said about his new venture, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "There's not a lot of effort and inclusion, and I'm saying, 'No, we're going to go to you.'"
"American Horror Story" season 6 has not been given an air date, but it is expected to air sometime in the last quarter of the year.
