John Stamos, star of Netflix's "Fuller House," debuted a darker and more edgy version of the family-friendly series "Full House" titled "Full House Nights," during an appearance on "Late Night with Stephen Colbert."

In a sketch on the evening talk show series, Stamos recruited "Fuller House" stars Bob Saget and Dave Coulier for the fun.

In "Full House Nights," the three roommates are now gritty detectives.

Stamos revealed on "Late Night with Stephen Colbert" that the "'Full House' dads hit the streets of San Francisco after the Tanner girls go to sleep and then they solve crimes."

In the fun clip, a new theme song and intro were introduced, meshing the likes of "Full House" with '80s cop shows such as "Miami Vice."

Stamos, Saget and Coulier also they poked fun at the lack of Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen in "Fuller House" in "Full House Nights," according to People.

Entertainment Weekly reported that the clip focused on drug dealer Dmitri (Colbert) being held in a police detention room.

The characters of Danny and Jesse play a good cop/bad cop routine on Dmitri in order to find out where the drugs are coming from.

When that doesn't work, they turn to the character of Joey, who does cartoon impressions to make the dealer crack.

"We know you're using the girls as your drug mules," Coulier said in his Bullwinkle voice. "One of them OD'd in the airport."

The hilarious bit concluded with the usual "Full House" morality lesson.

"Everybody has pain," Saget said in character as Danny.

"And everybody wants to bury that pain under piles and piles of blow. But it's no excuse to break the law. I think you've learned an important lesson here today, Dmitri," he quipped.

"Fuller House" starring Saget, Stamos, Coulier, Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber and Lori Loughlin is now streaming on Netflix.

Season two of the series was recently announced and will likely air in early 2017.

"The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. EST on CBS.
