What happened to "Cheese In The Trap?" This popular K-drama was so promising when it started. Now that the drama is fast approaching its final episode, it seems to have lost the original glory.
The absence of the male lead Yoo Jung (Park Hae Jin) had upset the fans, and their rage deepened with Baek In Ha's (Lee Sung Kyung) psychopathic decision to get Hong Seol (Kim Ko Eun) hurt in a car accident.
"Cheese In The Trap" producers addressed the original webtoon writer Soonki's open criticism in its official statement. Soonki had shared the drama producers didn't share scripts with her for the second half of episodes, and the drama's ending is too similar to what she had planned for her webtoon, which is something she strongly asked them not to do.
The drama team apologized to Soonki in the official press release, which she accepted. Still, the Korean fans, who have been frustrated with Park Hae Jin's diminished role and the characters' absurd behaviors, remain skeptical about drama's ending.
