Kaley Cuoco has played Penny on "The Big Bang Theory" for nine seasons now. The series was picked up for a tenth, but Penny might not be on it.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Cuoco is not happy with being stuck in the role of Penny. The star thinks her time would be better spent in movie roles, and she is taking it out on her fellow co-stars.
Cuoco does really well on television, but she hasn't been optioned for any movie roles. At least, any that would be glamorous enough for her to leave one of the highest paying gigs in television.
The weird thing about the news of Cuoco being unhappy in her role is the timing. Just last week, Cuoco sat down with TVLine to discuss the future of "The Big Bang Theory." She stated that she would be willing to continue on the series if it should get picked up for season 11.
Maybe she just snapped after her divorce to Ryan Sweeting. But her co-stars want little to do with her anymore.
CDL reported that Mayim Bialik, who plays Amy, refuses to speak to Cuoco unless she absolutely has to.
An insider also revealed to CDL that Cuoco "flips out about makeup, wardrobe, even the catering."
CDL believes that a lot of this off-the-handle behavior is stemming from her hookup with country singer Sam Hunt at the Grammys. Allegedly the handsome duo went home together, and Hunt left Cuoco alone before sunrise.
It is possible her very brief fling with Hunt mixed with her divorce has caused her to become a little angered and unhinged.
Unfortunately, it looks like if her behavior continues she will be written out of "The Big Bang Theory." It is sad news for fans, but it might just be the thing Cuoco is looking for.
